Permitting System Upgrade Completion Notice
Hernando County has successfully transitioned to the Hernando County Civic Access system. The temporary modified operations period has concluded, and all services, including online services, are now fully operational.
The new system is designed to enhance efficiency, improve user experience, and provide better access to permitting and licensing services for our community.

Permit Application Status and Property Search
New Permit Application Status Tool (As of 03/03/2026)
Use the "Permit Application Status and Property Search Portal" link above to access current permit information and property records.
Through this online portal, citizens and contractors can:
- View current permit statuses
- Search and review property history (by owner’s name, address, key number, or parcel IDs.
- View contractor information (by name, business, or license number)
Legacy Permit Application Status Tool
The Legacy Permit Application Status tool can be used to view permits and related documents submitted prior to 3/3/26.
